During your first visit, your therapist will get to know you, assess your current symptoms and explore your strengths. This is typically referred to as an initial intake assessment. Your therapist will also work with you during the first session(s) to create an individualized treatment plan tailored to the goals you hope to reach. Appointments typically last 50 minutes.
